Senior development with commercial context

Technical decisions grounded in what the business needs to achieve.

I work across architecture, backend, frontend and integrations, with performance, technical SEO and accessibility treated as engineering concerns from the start. Eight years working directly with marketing, sales and management means I can also translate commercial requirements into reliable technical solutions—not merely implement tickets.

Full-stack .NET and Umbraco

15+ years building and maintaining Umbraco and .NET solutions across agency, product and in-house environments—from architecture and custom functionality to integrations and long-term platform development.

Performance, SEO and accessibility

Performance, crawlability, structured data, content architecture and accessibility considered as part of implementation—not postponed until after launch.

Commercial systems and integrations

Experience connecting websites and digital platforms with CRM systems, lead flows, analytics, automated communications and the wider customer journey.

Flexible technical ownership

I can join an existing team, take responsibility for a defined initiative or remain accountable for a platform through continued development and improvement.

Customers

A selection of clients I have worked with on longer-term engagements, ranging from focused three-month commitments to ongoing retainers lasting up to five years.

These collaborations have typically gone beyond delivering a single project, with my role extending into continuous development, technical ownership, improvements, and ongoing support as the clients' needs evolved.

Digital agency (2024–2025)

I joined a Swedish digital agency at full-time capacity for almost a year, working as an integrated member of its delivery team across multiple client projects. The engagement included backend and frontend development across Umbraco 13, 15 and 16, reusable components and continued platform development.

Infront

Infront (2018-2023)

Engaged for a one-month website upgrade; retained for five years as technical lead for web, CRM and marketing systems, including three rebranding initiatives.

CDON

CDON (2020, 4 months)

Developed a post-sale communication system for tailored content delivery based on customer purchases, and optimized post-sale interactions to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.

Diageo

Diageo (2022, 4 months)

As part of a team, I engineered a headless Umbraco CMS for an e-commerce platform supporting premium brands including Guinness and Baileys. Created a custom Umbraco setup with C# / .NET and MongoDB to support scalable content management.

eBay

eBay (2015-2018)

Contracted at roughly 20% of full time to manage email campaigns; scope expanded to full-stack delivery across two and a half years, including an internal reporting and data-processing portal used by eBay staff.

KindbergCo Umbraco Platform

Too many Umbraco projects repeat the same foundation work: architecture, content structures, SEO, accessibility, performance and editor experience.

I built the KindbergCo Umbraco Platform to remove that repetitive phase. It combines more than 500 hours of development into a production-ready foundation that can be adapted for agencies, developers and companies that want to start from a stronger position.

This website runs on the platform with only minimal project-specific changes.

Running Umbraco 13? Support ends in 2026.

When support ends, security patches stop. A planned upgrade to Umbraco 17 LTS costs less — and hurts less — than an emergency one. See what your timeline should look like.
